Introduction

My name is Carolyn Byrne. I am an undergraduate senior. I was born and raised in the North side of Chicago and decided to come to the University of Delaware as an undergraduate to pursue a degree in Neuroscience on a pre-medical track. As an undergradute, I am a TA for Chemistry 103 working under Dr. Wingrave, I proctor chemistry exams, and tutor students in various chemistry courses. Starting earlier this semester I began to conduct research as an undergraduate in Griffin Lab, a new and exciting experience for me that has opened my mind to possibly pursuing a career on the research spectrum of neuroscience. In addition to these extracurriculars, I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Project Sunshine, and Making Doctors.
