Introduction

My name is Kristi Haag and I am a junior premed Neuroscience major with minors in Spanish for Healthcare and Biology. Currently, I work as a student mentor in the RSI research program at Christiana Hospital and as an undergraduate TA for BISC207 labs. Additionally, I act as a medical mentor to freshman in Making Doctors. I am very excited to explore a new area of research in Griffin Lab as I have previously worked in the Animal and Food Sciences Department researching Mareks Disease and ZIKV virus. I am looking forward to focusing purely on research areas in which I am passionate about. I plan to pursue a masters degree prior to entering medical school to continue working towards my dream of becoming a pediatric neurosurgeon.
