Introduction

I am a native of Delaware and graduated from the University of Delaware in the summer of 2013 with a degree in Neuroscience, B.S.. I started in the Griffin lab as undergraduate in the summer of 2012. I am interested in interactions between cortex and hippocampal formation during learning and the encoding and retrieval of memories, particularly spatial and episodic.

Project Description

As the lab manager I perform a variety of functions in the lab. Including animal training, undergraduate training, surgeries for experiments, construction of microdrives for in-vivo recordings, and histology. Currently I am assisting our post-doc in assessing the effect of mPFC inactivation during a conditional discrimination working memory task, and training rats on delayed alternation for in vivo recording experiments.
